I have to say one of the biggest things about being passionate about something is sometimes you get burnt out. I would be lying if I said that as a Nashville and Murfreesboro Wedding Photographer that has not happened to me. Today’s elopement ignited a fire in me again. I was a part of something so beautiful that was put together in less than 3 weeks. Myself and a few vendors collaborated to perform an actual elopement for Dylan & Victoria.
I had visions of gold, navy, and florals dancing in my head for weeks, I knew that I wanted geometric shapes and angles to go on the middle of the bridge. SO many amazing peeps helped make magic happen to bring my ideas and dreams to life.
Dylan and Victoria have such a sweet love and honestly are so blessed. Their little girl was such a sweetheart and had such a witty sense of humor. I wish their little one had been feeling well enough to come so I could get toddler snuggles. These two are polar opposites, so obviously they attract. Dylan had me laughing non stop and Victoria was so mild mannered and sweet (except when Dylan was being bad haha!) They wrote their own vows which made EVERYONE cry. Dylan is head over heels in love with Victoria and it is so obvious that he will do anything for her. Victoria is so beautiful and kind and I know she will love him and take care of his heart the way he needs.
Their friends joined them for champagne and cake then we hopped over to Flowers Farm, which is so gorgeous. Mr. Flowers is the coolest fella ever. I lost my cell phone and went back on the hunt to find him holding it for me. That reminds me, I need to head there to see if any deer hunters have meat to part with, Flowers processes deer meat so well. I LOVE their jerky sticks.
Not only did their day turn out beautiful but they also had Adele play guitar and perform Make You Feel My Love at their elopement. Okay..not really, but basically. Madison Dubler has a KILLER voice and so much talent; she is blessed with a voice that turned the Shelby St Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville, into a private and intimate concert venue where it felt like Dylan and Victoria were the only ones there. In reality, there were actually tons of people. The beaming couple brought a few friends and their little girl with them to be a part of this last minute marriage and there were no regrets. There were crowds of people stopping and taking pictures and videos not just of the couple but of Madison singing Victoria up the aisle!
Let’s not forget the aesthetics. Ivy & Grace did an absolutely epic pulling together the triangle arbors, the decor, the stands, tux, florals and rugs, and just so much more. Sarah & Joy are just amazing
